Essentially, you picture the exhausting, work intensive method that you have always had to use. It may never occur to you that, even without a whole lot of money to spend, moving could be a lot less stressful.
And for what reason? Most likely because you have not had any experience using moving pods, instead. The number of people who have not heard of and have never used moving pods is a little bit shocking. Sure, they are a relatively new way of moving your home.

What is a storage pod you say? Even though there are a number of companies that have pods the concept is the same. You order a pod and they will come and drop it off at your house. Normally after it gets dropped off you have approximately 30 days to pack up everything into it you would like. Following the loading you have a couple of options you can either have the pod stored at their storage space or you can have it dropped off directly in front of your new house.
One huge upside to using any sort of storage pod is that it is cheaper than having to get a moving truck and it’s also a lot more convenient as you don not have to coordinate a huge move in a short amount of time.

I lived in a sorority house with lots of other women, most of whom loved a weekend trip to Target (or “Targe,” as we would call it). We would go there, especially for bins and creative self storage solutions. You could also pick up snacks, socks, a book and some cheap exercise wear to round out your shopping experience. It is a dream for a girl on a budget. I had no idea that the self storage desires of the country would eventually create an entire retail arm of bin and box mania.

Schools and organizations can also benefit from the use of portable storage. If an event is being planned or held, like a carnival, these groups could store needed items in a unit to be delivered whenever they decide. Pods are not used just for people that are looking to move. Pods have several uses besides just moving. Several people use pods while remodeling their houses on the inside and out as well as just for temporary storage for whatever project they might be doing. For the best rate try calling around to different companies that offer the pods you can usually find one that is cheaper then most or compare the prices to them and they will sometimes offer you a cheaper price then their competitors.
Several moving companies do not take extra care of your personal stuff as you would like.
